Exciting news—I’m a Certified Dubsado Specialist!

Why’d I decide to join, if I’ve already got years of experience with Dubsado?

When I announced my certification on Instagram this is the question I got asked the most. Did I really need to? Is being certified actually helpful?

Honestly, I’d be lying to you if I said that I didn’t consider this myself. With almost 4 years exclusively working with Dubsado under my belt, I’m confident in my knowledge and ability to help all sorts of businesses get the most out of this amazing tool. It was never about the skills for me.

Over the past few years I’ve worked with many business owners who’ve been let down. They hired someone to set up Dubsado for them, and 9 months later they’re left with nothing. They did an online course and learnt nothing. They bought templates that felt like a let down. They’ve been ghosted.

It makes me *so* mad.

I love the online business community, but this is a side of it that makes my blood boil.

So when Dubsado landed in my inbox with a new certification program that includes a code of ethics, entrance exam and and mandatory feedback surveys I was all in.

Because whether you work with me, another Certified Dubsado Specialist or DIY it, I want you to love Dubsado as much as I do.

What did the certification process look like?

If you’re thinking the certification involved a quick online quiz, you’d be wrong.

Initial Certification

Before I was even allowed to get certified, I had to submit an application and take a pre-exam to make sure I was a good fit. From there, Dubsado provided a bunch of study materials including a specific exam prep webinar. And finally, in early October 2021 I took a 90-minute certification exam. Obviously I passed and here we are. 😉

Re-certification

Something I’m really pleased about is that Dubsado will be making all Certified Specialists go through an annual re-certification process. They push out new features regularly and, in my opinion, anyone who’s providing any sort of education or support in Dubsado needs to be across these to be able to give you the best advice.
